The Experience
The Founder
Angel Tramontin
Angel grew up Venezuelan in Cincinnati with a tennis racket in his hand. In 2017, visiting family in Panama, someone handed him a padel racket — a game with the same Latin roots he was raised on — and he never looked back. He's chased it across continents since, and now plays all over the world.
He's spent his life building communities — DJing, throwing events, bringing people together wherever he lands — and padel became the most natural canvas for it. The magic isn't the game; it's the long hangs after the match, the friends you make on court four, the one-more. The name nods to Mount Diablo, the peak that anchors our corner of the East Bay, and winks at the Latin roots of the sport itself.
A serial founder, Angel spent half a decade at LinkedIn shipping products used by a billion-plus members worldwide, and has been building companies of his own ever since. Fresh off his MBA at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, he brings an operator's eye for building things that scale to the game he loves.

Absolutely. Diablo welcomes players of every level. Whether you've played for years or have never held a racket, free intro clinics and coaching are built into the club.
Members receive complimentary intro clinics and open plays, with private lessons and additional programming available at preferred member rates.
